Dr Ladas first graduated in Urology in 1991, but he has always been passionate about Plastic Surgery and trained at the department of the University of the Witwatersrand from 1994 and graduated in 1999. At the same time he trained as a Hand Surgeon at the Plastic & Reconstructive department.

Dr Ladas started in private practice in September 1999 and in 2001 he started an Aesthetic Laser Practice following comprehensive training in Europe.
Dr Ladas is one of the first specialists to be involved in Aesthetic Lasers in Johannesburg. He has presented multiple International Congresses on Laser Medicine. In 2009 he was elected as Vice President of the European Society for Laser Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr Ladas presently runs a successful practice in Bedfordview. He operates at both the Bedford Gardens Hospital and at the Linkwood Clinic.
